The Contention Perspective of Schools of Thoughts within the Realm of Criticism

Abstract

The Russian formalism primarily concerns the poetic of the language system in art. In the face of criticism of the Russian formalism, it is generally believed that the formidable thinkers are followers of Shklovsky, and there is no contradiction between them. Nevertheless, there are several cases of disagreement in Moscow and the Prague School of thought, and these differences are certainly controversial. This article seeks to discuss the key aspects of disagreement between these two views.
