Abstract

The travelogue is one of the narrative genres of urdu language.since the travelogue is written on the eyewitness events,thus journey is the basic for it. By nature humans have tendency towards nature. They get tired from the uniformity of the  environment in which they live. Travel not only provides them temporary entertainment equipments  but also ends  the uniformity in the lives. They feel fresh and get busy in worldly affairs again. Travel is movement and life is another name of movement. During travel, travelers experience and observe several things. Sometimes, they desire to express their feeling experiences to others. Travelogues  introduce other cultures. There are revelations from history and geography. Travelogues is a good source of getting information. Dr Amjad Husain has talked about the basics of travel in his writings. Historical and  geographical events are of great importance in travelogues. Therefore, Dr. Amjd Husain has not only introduces the readers with geographical and historical events but also provided bunch of information.
