Urdu Masnavi: The poetic discourse of nature

Abstract

The effects of nature in Urdu Masnavi have emerged as an important literary and intellectual trend. It is not only a means of visualization but also a means of stimulating the reader's passion and imagination. The "effects" of nature in Urdu Masnavi not only enhance the aesthetic and linguistic beauty, but also give depth to the atmosphere, emotions and philosophy of the story. The relationship with nature in Urdu Masnavi is sometimes seen in terms of enjoyment, sometimes as a metaphor of nature as a background to evoke the scene, sometimes as a depiction of scenes, sometimes as a symbol of beauty, sometimes as a narrative of awe, sometimes to express sympathy or to arouse sympathy, sometimes to express internal emotions, sometimes to highlight contradictions and sometimes to create color in a metaphorical and allegorical style.
