Abstract

Riaz Ahmad Perwaz is a renowned Punjabi poet. He has written numerous books in urdu,Persian ,English while also expressing his thoughts in his mother language.In Punjabi he has penned naatia poetry,along with nazams ghazals and rubais. He is a seasoned Punjabi poet,and we can describe him as a poet full of life and emotions. He has wrote 25 books in urdu and 4 books of poetry in his mother language Punjabi. His poetry addresses contemporary issues and highlights various problems and evils surrounding us. His poetry possesses all the qualities expected from a high caliber poet. He is not only a renowned  poet but also a great journalist. He has a vast knowledge about politics and visited 32 countries as he is found of traveling. Despite being 85 years old, his passion and writing remain youth ful. We must say that the poetry of Riaz Ahmad is rich in every aspect. His Punjabi books names are Naat praga,Sooraj Chan Sitary duby,Tanhg and Udeek. His poetry fulfills all the demands of poetry,and his verses exhibit a unique blend of depth and emotional richness. In this research article it is tried to describe all the aspects of his poetry.
